2020 Spring Boys Lacrosse League

2020 Spring Season Overview

Lacrosse is THE sport to play in the spring and it is never too late to start playing the fastest game on two feet.  Ranger Lacrosse provides elementary and middle school boys with the structure and coaching to teach the fundamental skills required to play lacrosse, as well as to promote the spirit and sportsmanship of the game. Teams are organized based upon skill, experience and age groups from novice to advanced.

Ranger Lacrosse plays in the CYLA (Colorado Youth Lacrosse Association) which is made up of about 20 clubs located along the Colorado front range from Pueblo to Ft. Collins.  There are an additional 10 western slope clubs that also participate but do not host home games. CYLA has eight age divisions (U7-U14) which are open to players in the 8th grade and younger. There are also two skill levels (Blue and White) in each age division which allow teams to be competitive regardless of experience level.

The season will consist of 12-14 games for our 7 vs. 7 teams (3rd grade and under) and 12-18 games for our 10 vs. 10 teams (4th – 8th). In addition to the CYLA season we are including registration in the Kickoff Classic before the CYLA season and the Boomtown Tournament at the Air Force Academy.   We hope to play some games against Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) teams this year as well.

NOTE: You must have a valid US Lacrosse membership number to register. The annual cost of the US Lax membership is $30.  If you need to get a new membership or to renew your membership during the registration process you will be redirected to the US Lacrosse website to update your membership.

We encourage everyone to register as soon as possible making our planning for the season easier.  To register select the "REGISTER NOW" button on the right menu and select "2020 Spring Boys Lacrosse League".
